Annual Review
2007/08
|
UK Calendar
for 2009
|
| Over
the last year we have been developing our campaign on a number
of fronts and hopefully we can give a flavour of these important
changes in this Annual
Review.
As the campaign grows we face new challenges but intend
to stick to our main mission statement of combating racism
through anti-racist education. This Annual
Review should be read in conjunction with our Project
Summary and our Guide
for Football Clubs and Councils,
which are all designed to improve the way we work in partnership
with other organisations.
The
Show Racism the Red Card Annual Review 2007/08 can be downloaded
here.
| The
Calendar for 2009 features winning artwork and poetry from
our anti-racist schools competitions across the UK. The calendar
also features quotes from top international footballers and
outlines key dates in the year ahead..
The calendar is available while stocks last for only £4 inc p&p.
Available from all Show Racism the Red Card Offices.

|
Northampton Town Supporters Trust are helping to promote a campaign by the Northants Black History Association to posthumously award former Northampton Town player,
Walter Tull, his Military Cross from the First World War, which was denied him due to his colour.
2nd Lieutenant Walter Tull was the first Black infantry officer in the British Army. He was the first Black infantry officer to lead White troops into battle. He was the first Black infantry officer
to be mentioned in despatches and was the first Black infantry officer to be recommended for a Military Cross, which he never received.
